This type of cancellation contains, in its upper part, the caption POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE. It was adopted in April 1865 and remained in use until 1870. It appeared in some offices until as late as 1875. Its diameter ranges from 26.5 mm to 28.0 mm.  The following are examples from Smith, page 492.
