GIHENA

The name of Gihena is attributed to Juhayna Bin Zayd Bin Laith Bin Saud Bin Aslam Bin Al-Hafi Bin Gadaa, which is the name of a large Arab tribe that has branches in many Arab countries.

The tribe of Juhayna arrived to Egypt during the Islamic Conquests with Al-Raya Army, led by Amr Ibn Al-Aas in 43 AH then they moved and spread to the area of Ashmunein, south of Minya.
