Suez

Suez contains the southern entrance to the Suez Canal and consists of four districts.

Suez district is one of the oldest districts and contains most of the governmental buildings and Suez Port.

Al-Arba'in district is the most popular district and is consequently the most densely populated.

Ataqa district represents the urban and natural expansion of the governorate.

El-Ganaien district is predominantly rural because of its many fields. It contains Ahmed Helmy Tunnel, which is the access point between Egypt and Sinai. This tunnel leads to the agricultural expansion in Sinai.
