This fifth type appeared in 1873 and was not circulated to all offices. The main feature of this type is the phrase POSTE EGIZIANE, meaning Egyptian Post. This amended language is particularly important, and appears with the date and name of the post office in Arabic, Italian or English. It was used in Upper Egypt and Sudan.  Diameters range from 22 mm to 24 mm.
