KASR WEL-SAYAD

Kasr Wel-Sayad is one of the important villages in Naj'e Hamady where a great number of tribes such as AlAshraff, Hawara and Copts are living. This village is characterized by the highborn ancestors connecting between all tribes and Coptic who have vengeance between each other. In AlSayad, there are a lot of large mosques. Al-Ashraf tribe is considered to be the majority of the local population. In addition, the shrine of the great Companion, Sheikh Salem Al-Zay, is located in the middle of the public way. The tribes of Hawara that belongs to the children of Salim and AlBazaidah, the greatest in number, which belongs to the Abbasids, live in this village
